Frontera is a window into the urban lowrider culture, a cross-border phenomenon driven by the Chicano generation, a group of Mexican descendants residing in the United States who deeply value and hold a strong connection to their Mexican family identity. Lowriders are characterized by their expressive and performative essence, using modified cars with lowered suspension and hydraulic systems that move the car in a stylized manner, reminiscent of a jump or dance, a cultural manifestation in motion.
