Montserrat Messeguer was the first designer to present her celebratory collection, titled "Caravana," at the second edition of Fashion Forward at Frontón Bucareli on September 30th at 10 a.m. The designer presented a special capsule celebrating the brand's seventh anniversary, showcasing her most iconic designs and new developments that served as a window into what's to come.
In Montserrat Messeguer's seven-year history, the western style and aesthetics of Mexico's borderlands have always been an inspiration. Beginning with the design of cowboy boots, now a favorite of celebrities like Dua Lipa and Emily Ratajkowski, the brand's journey was gradually created by Montserrat Messeguer's imagination and her love for northern Mexico. Adding the design of leather garments and gradually becoming an exponent of design in this material, the brand now boasts a series of star garments that are recognizable at first glance and have been worn by musicians of different genres, from the Jonas Brothers to Cristian Nodal.
In this presentation for Fashion Forward, "Caravana" was a journey celebrating the history of the Montserrat Messenger brand, with a capsule of iconic designs and new developments inspired by the sense of unity and community that music festivals offer. Featuring the Mexican band Reyno and original music by Francesc Messeguer, the designer's brother, this runway created a ritual where music and fashion converge, and the space becomes a shared space for attendees to enjoy.
We're all walking each other home.
