Montserrat Messeguer is a brand led by the Mexican designer of the same name, which is an ode to Northern Mexico.
Founded in 2017, it gained early recognition for its innovative take on northern Mexico, a culture that influenced the Western United States. Through leather garments, accessories, footwear, and its iconic cowboy boots, crafted at the Goodyear Welt, the brand has conquered borders and experienced significant growth.

Meet Montserrat Messeguer
Montserrat Messeguer was born in Mexico City in 1988. She studied textile design and a master's degree in innovation management at the Universidad Iberoamericana, in addition to complementing her training at the Fashion Institute of Technology and the
Paris American Academy.
After collaborating with Vogue Mexico and Latin America from New York and for her mother's brand, she launched her eponymous label in 2017. She was immediately recognized for her innovative take on a western aesthetic. Inspired by northern Mexico and in collaboration with artisans, she creates leather and denim garments and accessories, including the iconic Jornada boots, worn by celebrities such as Dua Lipa, Florence Welch, and Emily Ratajkowski.
Her work has been featured at Mexico Fashion Week and in publications such as Vogue (France, UK, Hong Kong, Australia, Mexico), Elle US, Harper's Bazaar US, GQ UK, and TIME. She was awarded Designer of the Year by Fashion Group International Mexico in 2023 and was a finalist in the accessories and sustainability category at the Rising Star Awards in New York City in 2025.
